Safeguarding 4 of 5

4. Youth Tour Documents

Please find below a Tour Risk Assessment Form which is required (as per RFU regulations) to be completed and submitted to a club Safeguarding Officer by EVERY Youth age group who will be going away on tour (anywhere). This covers tour details and adults roles.

Overseas tours, which include those tours outside of England, require additional Kent Rugby permission.

Also below is the official RFU "Touring With Children" document which outlines what is expected of all adults/players/others who attend a tour. EVERY parent/guardian/player/family member/age group rep/official etc. is expected to be familiar with, and adhere to, all of the rules & regulations contained therein.

There is an additional form which needs to be submitted relating to minors attending a tour (within England or abroad) without an accompanying parent/guardian (please contact a member of the WPRFC Safeguarding Team for this form via the email address above/below).

It is imperative that ALL required forms/permissions are submitted to, and granted by, a club Safeguarding Officer at least ONE MONTH prior to the tour start date.

These docs can be quite daunting, so if you need any advice/assistance with completing these or would like a previously submitted form to use as a guide then please do contact a WPRFC Safeguarding Officer via:
