Safeguarding 3 of 5

3. RFU and Youth Safeguarding

In terms of safeguarding our Youth Players, WPRFC is committed to:

  • following the Core RFU Values: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship
  • developing a culture that lives and breathes these values
  • ensuring that our club is free of abuse, discrimination and harm, and where everyone feels safe and is able to raise any concerns they may have regarding unacceptable practice, behaviour, wrongdoing or misconduct on the part of anyone

Everyone at WPRFC who is involved in Youth Rugby, whether as a player, coach, parent, spectator, or volunteer, is expected to uphold these values.

Below are 2 RFU documents which outline our club's commitment to Youth safeguarding.
