CROCODILES 24 SOUTHWARK 10
The Crocodiles played their fourth game of season fielding five new and returning players, well done lads. On the upside all fitted in well and big well done to Josh Bruce for his first ever game of Rugby. The game was played in good spirit and the “The Oldies” held their end up well as normal, with “Big Dave Lewis” getting the compulsory “One against the head” Darren Ferrett “The Silent Assassin” made his return to the front row in true style, running over the Fly Half and Fullback to set the tone of the game. It was argued that he side stepped him. But after reviewing the video was withdrawn. Also, the Bulldozer AKA Benjamin Hunter made his return to WPRFC after some years in the wilderness and is very appreciated by many, a super try, probably the longest chumbawamba in the world, and his classic singing voice. Ollie Walker“The Boot” Walker played an exceptional game at Scrumhalf, getting a well-deserved try and two conversions. A super try by Liam Turner “Catch me if you can” competed the scoring. Top commitments this week for getting club back to where we belong. Special thanks to Roderick Parrish who burnt the midnight oil plastering two rooms, to help us out, and the legend that is Ross McEwen for getting work done early. Well done Ian Fotheringham for good win. We have many more to blood and hope they will make themselves available in the coming weeks.
