Great team performance reverses last seasons result.

X-Men rampant before during and after the game!
After the worse week of training know to man the boys had to stand up and be counted.
From the outset the defence was top draw all over the park, plenty of chat from out wide giving the boys close in the encouragement to work hard.
We went down to a penalty on the 5th minute 3-0.
The boys re-grouped and with a move called from the base of the scrum saw Bryan Young with ball in hand and 2 to beat, big fend, bit more gas and over on 7 minutes 3-5.
Hammersmith had some strong ball carries but with Chris Lewis, Nick Pace and Ben Hennah smashing everything that moved it was looking like a good day.
Hennah finds himself with ball in hand and a heap of work to do bounces a couple and puts his foot down for a great individual try on 10 minutes. 3-10.
Good Rugby was played by both sides but both teams butchering a couple of tries.
We get penalty on 25 minutes Harvey slides it over 3-13.
Stays that way till the half.
After shall we say a few words of "encouragement" at half time the boys came out strong.
We started to flood the rucks and let the backs do what they best, run!
Chris Lewis who was everywhere today finds himself out wide draws the man and with a perfectly weighted pass sees Nikki Davis 20 out, he puts his foot down and over in the corner on 49, Harvey Young converts 3-20.
We should have had another couple under our belt but the last pass or a dropped ball saw us give them away.
Hammersmith fought hard all game with some strong D and still their ball carries kept coming.
Still lots of chat, Ryan Hackett and Ben Ross getting into it as well.
Ben Hennah goes off again on 65 with another strong run try, Harvey converts, 3-27.
Brian Young comes off with a cut head, great performance with some strong runs at one stage towing a bloke behind him!
Asbo finds himself 30 out and backs himself, his legs going round like a cartoon character! great try Harvey converts.3-34. 72 minutes played
Harvey comes off and Gav goes for a run at 10,
The boys are flooding everything and this in-turn sees the backs playing front foot ball.
Luke Maybank goes over on 78 after a well worked team try, Gav get yourself some kicking boots!
3-39 final score.
Nikki Davis captained the side well, Bryan Young strong running after a lay off and Ben Hennah was outstanding, Man of the match has to go to Chris Lewis who was everywhere.
The team spirit today was immense and all played for each other and the shirt, marvellous to see.
