The squad was once again assembled at the last minute with a number of players unavailable and others returning from injury etc, the performance was better than the debacle the week before but the players know that this was still not good enough.
To be fair to Redingensians, they came with a game plan, played to their strengths and stuck to it for 80 mins, there was some decent stuff played in patches by the x-men but on this occasion only a brace of penalties from Phil Loyden troubled the score board.
TJ's next this weekend with local bragging rights up for grabs, the last encounter saw Combe record a 19-10 victory and TJ's on their home turf will be looking for revenge and will certainly be up for it coming off the back of an excellent Kent plate victory last weekend.
