On 23rd October, Westcombe Park RFC hosted the first Young Persons Refereeing Course aimed at 14-24 year olds in a great initiative to attract young people into refereeing.

WPRFC was the first club to be selected for this course to run and 26 young persons attended which was more than double the original anticipated numbers.

Of the attendees, 6 were from Westcombe Park being :

Ruairi Donohoe
Will Dowden
Lauren Kent
Charlie Morris

The feedback from the organisers was that it was a successful course run in a great venue and the attendees were superb.
