Newshopper Article and the future of the club.
Following the News-shopper headline this week, there should be no misinterpretation of the headline as WPRFC is in very good health.
The article is to raise the profile of the fund raising efforts for the new Clubhouse within the local community, and highlight that funds were still needed to meet the £630,000 total cost of the rebuild.
The finances of the club are unconnected with this project and are in very good health.
This has unfortunately lead some parties unconnected with the club to spread rumours that the club is going under, and is in financial difficulties, which cannot be further from the truth.
We have a very healthy club with from Seniors through to the mini's and our goal in rebuilding the club house is to secure this future of this very successful club.
