On Saturday the 1st XV take on Tring where hopefully we can continue the good start to the season and stay ahead of the trailing pack at the top of the league, this will be a real test as Tring are a very physical side with an exceptional set of backs with the powerful running ex Combe centre Nathan Lambden always a threat, in full back Tom Newton, Tring possess one of the leagues finest and most dangerous players who will need to be marshalled from the very 1st minute of the game. Kick off 3pm (Home)

On Sunday a mixture of 1st and 2nd XV players will travel the short distance to Sevenoaks who will host the 1st round of the Kent Cup, this will be a 2pm kick off. Combe will be determined not to have a repeat performance of last seasons narrow loss at the hands of Charlton Park and wish to progress in the competition, the winners of this fixture will be at home to Maidstone in the next round.
