The newly formed girls rugby teams at combe (U13 & U15) played their debut match at home on Sunday 29th November, hosting Old Dartfordians. Combe Girls Rugby was started in May this year, with just 6 attending the first session. It has grown over the months, and now boasts 23 members from 12 to 16.
The success of the girls is mainly due to the coaching team, who make the sessions fun and different.
The 2 squads came running onto the pitches, wearing their new strip, sponsored by Kent Installations, who were also invited to watch the games. The U13s dominated from the start, and won their first ever match 57 - 0. Tries from Lucie Bunce and Rosie Burtonshaw sealed their victory.
The u15s had a great game too, and drew their match 25 - 25.
