Girls Kent 7's

Combe Girls U13 - County Champions

Combe Girls entered U13 and U15 sides into thje Kent 7's at Tunbridge Wells yesterday. The U13 joined up again with Old Alleynians, something they have done at 3 other competitions this season. The U15 were all Combe with 1 Old Alleynians girl joining the team. The U15 had a mixed day against some strong sides from Kent and did not made the playoffs unfortunately. However they narrowly lost games by 1 try which would have made a huge difference to the pool result at the end of the day. The U13 had a pool of 12 players and coped with knocks and injuries well. The girls played fast rugby and the tackling was awesome!!! They finished top of the pool and were presented with the trophy as Kent champions. The joint team of U13 Combe and Old Alleynians have played 10, won 8 and drawn 2 this season. A fantastic achievement which for most is their 2nd season of girls rugby.
