MATCH REPORT NOMADS 10 V CHARLTON PARK (123’s) 24
Where do I begin
To tell the story of how great a game can be
The coaches team talk that is fresher than the tea
The simple truth about the team they bring to me
Where do I start
With their first blow
They gave new meaning to the word of sportsmanship,
There will be another game, another time
They came into half for a fight, and got fight Nomads stick together.
We fill our hearts with very special things
With warrior songs, with wild imaginings
Which fills our souls with so much commitment,
That anywhere they go they are never alone
With that around, who could be beaten,
Down, but not out, Nomads are always there.
How long does it last?
Can rugby be measured by the hours in a day?
I have no answers now but this much I can say
I know I'll need ruby till the stars all burn away
And Nomads will always be there
A top performance and better class rugby played by the Nomads,
Against a much stronger side was truly outstanding.
An enormous compliment paid to us by Charlton Park,
thinking they needed to field such a strong side to defeat us, and they were right!
Man of the match on Debut- Joe Edmunds
Dick of The Day Gareth D for running into our smallest player!
