A1 Pharmaceuticals Tennis Academy, who have a long term agreement to manage the tennis facility at Goddington Dene, are competing in the South East tier of the National Club League for the first time.

The NCL is Britain's premier team tennis competition, and features a number of former and current professionals in both the regional and national tiers.The penultimate round of fixtures took place last Sunday, with Devonshire Park in second place in the table, two points behind leaders Chandos. Devonshire Park recorded a thumping 12-0 win against Westside LTC 2, a result Chandos were unable to match as they succumbed to their first defeat of the season.

Going into the final match , A1 know a victory will secure promotion to the national tier of the NCL at the first attempt. Taking place at Goddington Dene on Sunday 9th June at 1pm, A1 - featuring Louisiana state player of the year in 2013, Chris Simpson, former world top 700 Matt Illingworth, up and coming professional Harry Meehan and former doubles pro Rob Chambers - are hoping to put on a show to secure promotion.

All spectators are more than welcome, and there should be some high quality tennis on display.
