Westcombe Park went down to defeat in the Kent Cup Final against old rivals Sevenoaks. In a match held at Medway RFC's ground at Priestfields, Sevenoaks ran out worthy winners scoring 6 tries to Combe’s sole effort.

The winners’ victory was based on the speed of ruck ball they secured and a well drilled set of backs. Combe had plenty of possession in and around the Sevenoaks 22 but their only try came from a driven maul following a lineout.

Kent U20s, led by Combe’s Ben Fryatt, suffered a narrow defeat, 24-21, to Cornwall in the final of the Jason Leonard trophy at Sixways, Worcester, also held on Sunday. However, this was a great achievement by the Kent team and once again well done to Ben.
