First pre-season session – Monday 5th July 19:00 for 19:30 start

(Preseason will take place every Monday and Wednesday throughout July and August. Training nights for the season have yet to be confirmed)

A planning, testing and conditioning day will take place on Saturday 10th July. It is imperative that all players wishing to be part of the 1st & 2nd XV squads next season attend this day. The day will run from 9:30 – 15:00. On that day we will set goals and targets for individual players as well as for the team. Along with a code of conduct and set of guidelines for the coming season. Strength and Conditioning testing will also take place to allow Gideon to plan your summer training program most effectively. If you cannot attend that day for what ever reason you need to let me know asap.

Saturday 7th August

Scrummage Clinic with Graham Smith (England Ladies Coach) and Graham Rowntree. For forwards only, 1 or 2 packs will be selected to take part in the all day event

Saturday 14th August – 1st XV squad game against Esher 2nd

We are hoping to fulfil 2 fixtures on this Saturday but that depends on player availability

Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd August

Training camp with the Army in Pirbright. Full details are yet to be confirmed but we will aim to get to Pirbright for 19:00 on the Friday night and leave on Sunday afternoon. We are hopeful of being able to take a squad of 35 – 40 players. Again if you have aspirations of playing 1st XV rugby you need to attend this weekend as a lot of team patterns and plays will be learnt over this weekend. Players selected to attend this weekend will be informed by the end of July but please keep the weekend free

Saturday 28th August – 1st XV game against Dorking, 2nd XV game tbc.

Saturday 4th Sept – first league game, opponents tbc
