Wolves win Saracens Plate Event

On Saturday the 26th March my Daddy woke me up early as we were going to Saracens for a rugby tournament.
First I put all my rugby kit on then I went down stairs to have my breakfast. After I finished my porridge I made my way up the stairs to wash and brush my teeth.
My Mummy, my little sister and my Daddy were all coming to watch me. It really makes a difference to have their support.
We left at 7.30am as we had to be at the stadium early to meet the rest of the team. During the car journey I played on my ipad and my sister slept.
It was about a 45-minute drive to Saracens and then about a 20-minute walk to the stadium. On the way to the stadium by foot we bumped into several members of my team and their parents. Luckily one of the parents came by car and picked up Jack Pillar and myself and dropped us by the entrance.
Our tickets were checked and we proceeded into the stadium to find a safe place to put our bags and equipment, which ended up being one of the main stands.
Once most of the team had arrived we went behind the stand to start warming up. Then once the rest of the coaches arrived we had a more organised warm up session.
The tournament started and we played 4 games in the group stages, winning all of them without conceding a single try. This secured us a place in the final against Chesunt, a team we had played in the group stages.
I was both excited and nervous to be in the final because my family and 12,000 people were watching. Despite this I helped my team win by 2 tries to nil in a tough but exciting game.
To make my day even better the presentation was made to us by two professional rugby players, who also stayed around for some team photos.
We then watched Saracens beat the Exeter Chiefs before setting off to see my Nanny. She was very proud and pleased for me.
What a heck of a day, I’ll never forget it !
