It is with a very heavy heart that I report the passing of Lenny Markham.
Lenny joined Combe in the season 1959-1960. His first couple of years were spent playing for the colts 1st fifteen where his talent as a back row forward soon showed through. So much so, that he became a 1st fifteen player from the very early 60’s until 1982. During this period he won an Honours Cap and was made a Vice President of Westcombe Park. Lenny was a lovely man and had a great sense of humor he will be missed immensely.
