After a slightly drought-delayed start to the season the 'Combe U12 Girls were delighted to welcome Tunbridge Wells and Dartfordians for a double-header on Sunday.

For many of the girls this was their first taste of junior rugby with the now official dual band age group incorporating school years 6 & 7. It was also a first outing for the brand new U12 'Combe girls kit kindly sponsored by Harefield Property Services over the summer.

The girls did their new kit and the club proud and it was great to see over 40 players and parents enjoying some post-match catering in the clubhouse, something which would have been unimaginable at 'Combe a few years ago.

Special mention needs to go to both Minaiya and Matilda who were playing their first ever games of rugby. Any girls who would like to give rugby a try are encouraged to visit the age group pages or to get in touch.
