Wolves come up against considerably bigger opposition
Well done the Wolves today against opposition that were considerably bigger than our boys. Moving the ball well in the first 20 minutes they deserved their 2-0 advantage early on.
Whilst our handling was a little suspect after that initial period, and tackling needs some more work, credit to Sidcup for the pressure they put us under. Unfortunately realising that power running through the centre was going to pay dividends, Sidcup proved too strong in the end.
Despite the inequity of size, our scum was superb in the first half and on three occasions pushed the Sidcup scrum backwards. In the second half we won all our own put ins and two against the head.
Excellent tries from Dylan, Oliver, Ryan and Hendo showed what we can do when we move the ball. Ryan would certainly have given anyone a run for their money on the wing today and Hendo showed super determination and leg drive to score his try.
Well done Wolves on a great team effort, very proud of you all.
