This weekend fixtures

Thurrrock v Westcombe Park 1st XV - 3pm Kick Off
This weekend see's the 1st XV play their 1st away game of the season to Thurrock RFC who as always will provide a very tough and physical challenge for the visitors. Thurrock lost to Sevenoaks on the opening day and will be looking to put things right this week. 'Combe will need to dig deep to get the result they want and an improvement in performance, particularly in executing and finishing opportunities, will be required in order to acheive their goal.
Unfortunately scrum half Sam Gilham dislocated his elbow against Chichester in the opening day and will be ruled out until Xmas, we wish him a speedy recovery. New scrum half Bradley Smith takes his place after impressing in training this week. There are a couple of unavailabilities but the strength in depth throughout the squad and competition for places means that we cross the bridge with 2-3 players making their 2018/19 1st XV debut's looking to stake a claim for the following week .

Westcombe Park Extra 1st XV v Tunbridge Wells 2's - 3pm kick off
Joe Simpsons X-Men commence their league season against National 3 Tunbridge Well's second string. A great pre-season for the X men was slightly marred last week when a severely depleted squad lost by 7 points to Thurrock 2's. However, improved availability this week made selection much easier and we are sure to see some performances that will give next weeks 1st XV selectors some headaches.

Westcombe Park 3rd XV v Old Elthamians Bulls - 3pm Kick off
Chriss & Richard Snapes 3rd XV go from strength to strength with a combination of established players, colts moving up through the ranks and returnee's to the club, competition for the starting berth is one again very healthy which will ultimately foster success and with Chriss Snape steering the ship the squad is in very good hands.

Good luck to all of the teams playing this weekend.
