A hearty well done to Ross McEwen, Alex 'Pacey' Pace, Chris Fuller, Katie Green and Benjamin Hunter today for completing the 65 mile course in aid of the Wooden Spoon Charity.

Unfortunately two of the original seven riders had to pull out at short notice, Steve Bunn through injury and Alan Edwards due to personal reasons.

Also thanks to Paul Woodhouse and Denes Nemestothy for manning the water tent, albeit the gazebo blew away early afternoon in the wind!

The weather stayed fine and fluids were regularly taken to avoid any dehydration.

Well done gain to our intrepid five.
