Sally Gook was diagnosed cancer with some time ago cancer and died peacefully on Friday 13TH July. Sally was the twin sister for David Gook who was our first fifteen hooker for a number of years in the early sixties. Sally was one of the faithful tea ladies that must have made many hundreds of sandwiches for the players when the clubhouse was in Craven Road.

At the same time we must also report that Noel Bartlett died on Friday 20th July. Noel was the son of Barley a president of Combe from 1957 to 59.
