The RFU & Mitsubishi Motors teamed up to recognize and award volunteers in grassroots rugby clubs up and down the country. With an amazing army of volunteers at Westcombe Park, both in youth and senior sides, an event was held at the clubhouse on Friday 16th June, where those nominated, where invited to attend. A welcome reception of Prosecco and buffet was provided, followed by those nominated being called up to receive their prize, which was an RFU & Mitsubishi Motors fleece and certificate. Congratulations to all who were nominated.
At each event, the RFU chose one nominee, who stood out from the rest, and they were put forward to attend the finals later in the year, held at Twickenham, where the overall winner wins a Mitsubishi car for a year. Well done to Tim Leng, who was put forward for this.
