Come along a support the lads in their final pre-season match a chance to meet the new coaches and players and feel the great vibe around the club at the moment.

Training has gone very well, the majority of last season players retained and a few quality additions have seen a very successful pre-season campaign to date with players throughout the squad putting down markers for that coveted 1st XV jersey and has also included a number of stand out performances from our youngsters that have joined the squad this season.

Our Extra 1st XV had a 19-12 win away at Bournemouth last weekend followed by a great performance under lights on Wednesday evening running out 47-12 winner against Thurrock's second string.

The 1st XV narrowly lost 29-22 to Bournemouth who play in the league above Combe and are a very good and well drilled outfit. The result is largely unimportant as it was all about looking at players in different positions and combinations, it turned out to be a fantastic performance which should give us all real encouragement for the coming season.

We very much look forward to welcoming Tunbridge Wells this coming Saturday which promises to be a cracking game.
