Three new coaches will organise the coaching at ‘Combe.
Simon Jervis takes over as senior coach. Simon played for Combe for many years and was captain in 2004/05. He also played for Nuneaton and Blackheath before taking up his coaching career at Gravesend, where he successfully steered them to promotion from London Two South East to London One South.
James White, a long-standing member of Combe having started as a Mini Rugby player, is RFU Development Officer, Harlequin Academy Coach and he was assistant coach at Combe last season.
Finally the third member of the coaching team is Stephen Wagstaff, a player and coach of great experience having been coach for Warlingham and Old Caterhamians before becoming Surrey’s Under Fifteens coach. He has also been Harlequins Academy coach for the last three years.
These three coaches will be responsible for the coaching of the first fifteen squad as well as Westcombe Park’s second fifteen ‘The Tigers’.
