From September 2015, there will be a girls U13s rugby team at Combe every Sunday. This is an exciting step forward for WP, and we have approx 22 girls already to join.
Preseason training (and also the opportunity for the girls to get to know each other) will commence in May, June and July, every Tuesday evening from 6-7pm.
If anyone with a Level 1 coaches certificate, or someone who wants to achieve their coaches certificates, and who wants to assist with the team, please get in touch with Michelle Harvey. I am looking for people to assist with the Tuesday nights, as well as the new team when it starts in September.
If you, or anyone you know, male or female, over 18, who wants to be involved in this, it is a great opportunity. We have full RFU backing, as well as Saracens support and Rugby4All behind us. Also, if you know of any girls who want to join the team, (daughters, neices etc) please let them know to come along on the first training session 5th May at 6pm.
