Over the last 2 years we have held our bar prices despite small increases from our suppliers. Following the latest increase in April from Shepherd & Neame, minimum wage and utilities we have been forced to increase our bar prices for the coming season. We will be increasing Member prices by 10p a pint to maintain our margin and hopefully be able to hold prices for the next 12 months, any vat or duty increases permitting. One way of maintaining our margin is increased use of the bar and after a survey of other establishments in the area, we are still competitive at £3.50 a pint, excluding Weatherspoons.
