With our club offering expansive grounds, hall, bar facilities, meeting areas and a wide range of sports the Management Committee, with the agreement of the Members at our Annual General Meeting in May, has appointed a Commercial Manager to help to make fuller use of our assets. Troy Pender has agreed to take on this role.

Troy’s role is to increase revenue coming into the Club. He already has a couple of local businesses interested in using the Club’s facilities during the week and is seeking further interest from the local community in which Combe can play a bigger part. Throughout the season Troy will be hosting a number of social/fundraising events which will be advertised on the Club’s website and around the Clubhouse. Troy hopes that Members will try to support as much as possible.

Troy will also bridge the gap between the Senior sides (Saturdays) and the Mini/Junior sections (Sundays) of the rugby club. Troy will come along on Sundays and see all the age groups’ parents and coaches and listen to any ideas they may have.

Finally, to make Troy’s job easier and the club more successful the thoughts, ideas, input and any leads that others might have will be welcome. More importantly any help will be gratefully received.
